Allseating Introduces Gemelli

Designed in Collaboration with Carl Gustav Magnusson, the Refined Seating Collection Balances Sculpted Comfort with Quiet Sophistication

Toronto, ON — June 1 2026 — Allseating, a leader in the design and development of seating solutions, is pleased to introduce Gemelli™, a refined seating collection created in collaboration with industrial designer Carl Gustav Magnusson. Inspired by evolving commercial interiors, Gemelli balances sculpted comfort, elevated detailing, and versatile performance.

Developed as a polypropylene seating collection with expanded applications, Gemelli, available with or without arms, is a single-shell guest chair that adapts naturally across workplaces, cafés, hospitality settings, educational environments, and social spaces. The collection offers designers a flexible solution with a consistent design expression.

Gemelli’s single-shell, subtly curved form is softly contoured to support the body’s natural seated position, balancing comfort with a clean, architectural silhouette. From the back, the chair’s cufflink-inspired arm connection detail gives it a distinct visual signature, while the racetrack leg profile adds elegance and rhythm when used in multiples.

“Gemelli was designed to stand apart in an ocean of stacking chairs,” says Magnusson. The goal was to create a chair with the ergonomics and performance expected of Allseating, while giving it a clear point of distinction. The cufflink-inspired detail and racetrack leg profile create a recognizable design language, so the chair feels elegant, strong, and identifiable from every angle.”

Designed to support a wide range of interiors, Gemelli allows spaces to shift and evolve with ease, making the collection especially well-suited for environments that require flexibility and movement. Available in six shell colors (Noir, Ashtone, Savoy, Valley, Dune, and Soleil) with six coordinating painted frame finishes, a chrome frame option for an elevated look, and an optional upholstered seat pad, the collection offers designers a thoughtful mix of versatility, comfort, and visual refinement.

“Gemelli is a thoughtful addition to the Allseating portfolio because it brings together the qualities designers ask for most often: comfort, flexibility, durability, and a strong point of view,” says Connor Moreby, Design and Development Manager at Allseating. “Carl’s approach gave the collection a level of detail that feels elevated without being overdesigned, allowing Gemelli to work naturally across a wide range of spaces.”

Behind its refined appearance, Gemelli was engineered for long-term performance. This, coupled with its BIFMA LEVEL® 3 and Indoor Advantage Gold certifications, further supports the responsible material choices alongside long-term durability.

Light in scale yet rich in presence, Gemelli balances durability, comfort, and quiet sophistication in a collection designed to age gracefully alongside evolving interiors.
