COMFORTABLE AND CONTEMPORARY SEATING WITHOUT THE COST

Father Joe’s Villages, a non-profit, provides an evolved model for serving the homeless, and turned to ICE (Innovative Commercial Environments) to create a highly flexible, collaborative workspace. When asked to provide budget-friendly seating, ICE turned to Allseating for a solution that combined high-quality design and durability for a great price.

Allseating’s Viva task chair was specified for its modern aesthetic and straight-forward adjustability. Its boldly designed back automatically self-adjusts to body type and movements, comfortably accommodating various users and changing tasks. Its patented mesh technology is smooth, strong and designed to last, while its air-cushioned arm caps protect against abrasion and wear-and-tear.

Inertia side chairs were selected because they provided Father Joe’s Villages with highly comfortable short-term seating, and conveniently stack when not in use.

The project earned ICE a Best of Show award at NeoConnect, an interior design competition sponsored by the San Diego Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

When ICE was asked to provide product for Father Joe’s Villages, the first manufacturer that came to mind was Allseating because of their great design, aesthetic, price-point, and durability. I knew from past projects that Allseating chairs would deliver when it comes to all of these attributes and felt confident that Allseating’s chairs would hold up in a public facility such as Father Joe’s Villages 15th Street and Commercial location. --- Alysse McCree
